- Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport and Transfer to Volcanoes
On your way to the Majestic Gorillas you will land at Kigali International Airport and you will be picked by our experienced guide/driver. Proceed and do a city tour of Kigali city and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial center, the Art gallery and the local Market. Proceed to Musanze in the West of Rwanda for a Night stay as you prepare for the Golden Monkey trekking.
- Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking
On this day you will have an early breakfast and the lodge will also provide you with packed lunch as golden monkey trekking can be demanding. After your breakfast you will be picked by our guide and you will proceed to the briefing point before the start of the Golden Moneky trekking. After the golden trekking you will be transfered to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will spend the night before your Mountain Gorilla trekking
- Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
On this day you will have an early breakfast and the lodge will also provide you with packed lunch as gorilla trekking can last between 1 hour to 6 hours. After your breakfast you will be picked by our guide and you will proceed to the briefing point before the start of the Gorilla trekking. After the gorilla trekking you will be transfered to Lake Bunyonyi Uganda’s deepest lake and home to numerous bird species. Enjoy a relaxing evening at the lake.
- Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi
You will spend a day the second deepest lake in Africa. Enjoy the local Canoe experience and have a tour around the Lake to know about the lake and its history. You will later enjoy the zip-Linig at the lake to crown the relaxing day as you prepare for the journey to Kibaale Forest National Park the next morning.
- Day 5: Transfer to Kibaale Forest National Park
After your breakfast you will prepare to embark on a 5 hour drive to Kibaale Forest National Park. Kibaale National Park, located in western Uganda, is known for its rich biodiversity, including a large population of chimpanzees. It spans 795 square kilometers, featuring tropical rain forests, grasslands, and wetlands. The park is a popular destination for primate tracking and bird watching, offering stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife.
- Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking
Chimpanzee trekking in Kibaale National Park offers an exciting opportunity to observe wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat. The trek typically lasts 3-4 hours, guided by experienced rangers. You will learn about chimpanzee behavior, conservation efforts, and enjoy close encounters with these intelligent primates in lush forest surroundings. After the trekk you will take a guided community walk in the Bigoodi Community.
- Day 7: Transfer to Kigali International Airport
This will be the last day of your 7 days Primate Safari in Uganda. You will be driven back to Kigali International Airport.
