We spent 14 days in Uganda with We Tour Africa Safaris. The trip was well organized and rich in highlights, animal sightseeing, primate trackings and hiking. A big thank you to Blair, the owner, and to our guide Mathias for their punctuality, professionalism and for fulfilling all our requests, even with some last minute changes along the way. We highly recommend this travel agency for their precision, transparency and value for money.
We finally recommend Uganda to all travelers who are looking for a trip that is actually more than a safari, including the possibility of mixing game drives, walking with wild animals, discovering waterfalls, hiking volcanoes and gaining insight into local communities and traditions.
We booked a 4 day tour between Rwanda and Uganda squeezing in Chimpanzee, Gorilla, and Golden Monkey trekking. Blair at We tour safaris organised everything perfectly. Communication was excellent from our first enquiry right up until the tour began. The tour itself was incredible, each experience was absolutely breathtaking. Blair our tour guide was excellent throughout. Couldn’t recommend enough - thanks Blair!
Our 3 weeks trip through most of Uganda (except eastern part) was absolutely phenomenal. From A to Z, organisation, selection of Lodges and National Parks as well as community visits were top tier. I can't think of anything that didn't work out. This shows, that Blair from WeTourAfricaSafaris knows what he is doing. Road transfers were smooth, lunch stops on the road were selected very well an it was just all in all a wonderful trip with Blair and Vicent. Can absolutely recommend to book with WeTourAfricaSafaris. Can't say it enough, we had a blast. And I am speaking of experience since I am also a Safari guide with my own company. Will defenitely book again and looking forward to our future cooperation. Thanks for everything, Blair, keep it up!!
An incredible 4‑day primate safari through Uganda and Rwanda! Visiting Kibale NP, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP, and Volcanoes NP was unforgettable. Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale and seeing golden monkeys in Volcanoes were amazing, but the absolute highlight was gorilla trekking in Bwindi — truly breathtaking and a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience. Blair was an exceptional guide: knowledgeable, engaging, flexible, and great company throughout the journey. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and well‑organized primate adventure!
I went on a solo female safari trip to see the golden monkeys, gorillas, and chimps in Rwanda and Uganda. Blair was a fantastic guide—professional, kind, and incredibly friendly. He was a safe and skilled driver who always knew the best and most efficient routes.
Blair also has a fascinating background in healthcare, public health, and statistics, which led to many engaging conversations. He was very thoughtful—taking me to Ugandan and Rwandan buffets so I could try more local food instead of just the lodge meals, introducing me to fresh sugarcane for the first time, and even getting me charcoal pills when I had stomach issues. He would slow down whenever I wanted to take photos or videos, often without me even needing to ask.
One of the highlights of the trip was visiting his hometown at the end, where I got to try the local beer with his friends and learn more about his life. Thank you for a beautiful safari that was not just about wildlife, but also a deeply enriching and eye-opening cultural experience.
Very good tour experience and the tour guide was very nice and helpful
I recently took a trip with We Tour Africa Safaris and had an absolutely incredible experience. They organised a seamless and unforgettable trip to Rwanda and Uganda, including a 4-hour gorilla habituation experience that was beyond anything I could have hoped for.
Blair was our main point of contact and guide — his communication throughout the planning stages and during the trip was fantastic. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to be around. Every detail of the journey felt thoughtfully curated, from logistics to accommodations and on-ground support.
If you're looking for a company that goes above and beyond to deliver a truly immersive and well-executed East African adventure, I can’t recommend We Tour Africa Safaris highly enough.

Life changing experience in Uganda & Rawanda - What an unforgettable adventure with We Tour Africa Safari’s with our amazing guide, Blair. We have travelled to over 100 countries and this experience ranks at the very top. We chose the 4 Days Gorillas and Chimps Safari (which also included Golden Monkey’s). Our travels started in Kigali, Rawanda where Blair picked the two of us from our lodging. We stopped for an African buffet lunch that was absolutely delicious. We continued on our way to Uganda as Blair helped us through the border crossings and the immigration process setting clear expectations and by our side the entire time. We made it to our first lodge which was lovely and the included dinner was top notch. We ate dinner with Blair and he discussed the itinerary and laid out the plan for the following day. Our first trek was to see chimpanzees which left me overwhelmed with gratitude. We saw probably 15 chimps and we were in a trekking group of 6 people - plus a ranger and two security guards (in case an African elephant decided to surprise us, they’d shoot into the sky to scare them away) . From there we headed to our next destination, the Rushaga Sector to prepare to trek with gorillas. We chose the Uganda side to trek as not only is it a more affordable trek pass, but there is also a higher density of gorillas. Our trek was nothing less than spectacular. Our group of eight trekkers saw over ten gorillas including a silverback, many females, a couple juveniles and even an infant that was born just five days earlier. The ranger and guards were all so excited, as this was the youngest gorilla they had seen. We did not initially plan the hire a porter ($20 for the trek, plus any gratuity) but decided to at the last moment. While I think we would have managed the trek ok on our own (we are in our 40’s and 50’s, are physically active and walk 10k+ steps daily) this was the best decision we made. Not only do they give you a much needed helping hand as you navigate the bush in the elevation, but it’s also nice to know you are helping the local community. From here, we returned to Rawanda through the magnificent countryside of both Uganda and Rawanda , witnessing daily life and sharing space in a different reality. We made it to our final night’s stay in Rawanda. Another lovely stay and delicious food. Our final day in Rawanda we were privileged to see dozens of endangered golden monkeys and surprisingly, 3 unexpected mountain gorillas!!! This was supposed to be our final stop, but Blair being the amazing guy that he is remembered that I had mentioned that I had hoped to go to the Genocide Memorial before departing Kigali..and, he took us there and waited for us at the tour the facility for three hours before returning us to our accommodation in Kigali.
Again, I must reiterate the kindness, professionalism and expertise of Blair. We talked to other guests on the treks and their guides did not seem to provide the same level of TLC and expectation setting as Blair did. He shared that prior to becoming a guide, he studied Public Health at university. This care and compassion was evident as he shared his beautiful home with us. Cheers and happy travels!

We would still come back for this great experience - Our 4-day Gorilla and Golden Monkey Trekking Tour in Uganda was an unforgettable adventure! From start to finish, Blair ensured that everything went smoothly and was enjoyable. The journey to Bwindi National Park was breathtaking, with stunning scenery and vibrant villages on the way. Gorilla trekking at Bwindi Park was magical, with a challenging but rewarding hike and the opportunity to see a gorilla family close up. The guides provided fantastic insights into conservation and ensured a respectful experience for all involved. Golden monkey trekking at Mgahinga National Park offered a fun contrast, with an easier hike through the bamboo forests and playful, energetic golden monkeys. Throughout our trip, we stayed in great lodges and enjoyed delicious meals and warm Ugandan hospitality. Everything was seamless, thanks to Blair's knowledge and friendliness, making the experience even more memorable and highly recommended.

What an experience - We had an incredible 3-day gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi with We Tour Africa Safaris. From start to finish, the team was professional, friendly, and attentive to every detail. The scenic drive to Bwindi was well-planned with informative stops, and the accommodations were comfortable and relaxing. The gorilla trek was an unforgettable experience—our guide Blair ensured we were well-prepared and made the hike enjoyable. Seeing the gorillas up close was breathtaking and a true bucket-list moment. The organization, safety measures, and personal touch by the staff exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend We Tour Africa Safaris for an extraordinary adventure!
